AI) segment is one of the six segments that Lenovo Data Center Group (DCG) is

Lenovo HPC &AI team consists of more than a hundred people across the world
and different functions – from Sales, Sales Engineering and Architecture, over
Product Marketing and Management, Application Benchmarking and Performance
Engineering, HPC Vertical Segment Specialists and Datacenter Infrastructure
Experts, to Manufacturing and Development and finally Research.

We are currently hiring for an HPC System Administrator to be on site with one
of our customers. The role requires frequent presence in Munich.

Being a part of the Lenovo Professional Services team your responsibilities
are to:

\- Implement, deliver and administer HPC Cluster.
\- Perform Solution optimization, Migration and upgrade and recommend
strategies
\- Work collaboratively and complementary with the hardware sales team,
technical sales (presales) team and Business Partners
\- Work on a billable basis (customer paid projects)

The role gives you a great deal of independence and opportunity to take the
lead and advise. You will be expected to work effectively in providing onsite
technical services in the areas of HPC & AI platforms and solutions. Also, you
will be responsible for implementing and supporting HPC solutions at customer
sites, involving Server, Storage, Network, Power and Cooling, OS, and cluster
management software. The job responsibilities involve providing knowledge
transfer, troubleshoot, resolve and advise on the mentioned infrastructure and
technologies.

The position offers you the opportunity to build a solid customer relationship
so It is important that you possess customer interaction skills and ability to
make technical decisions, to collaborate during projects with several
organization verticals, partners, and customers and to develop training and
knowledge base documentation.

#### Position Requirements:


-Experience in Linux (ie. Suse, RHEL & CentOS)
-Experience in HPC cluster manager & Job scheduler
-Experience in HPC system troubleshooting and support
-Fluency in German and English language
-Able to perform OS installation and upgrades with no supervision
-Able to perform high level problem determination
-Customer service skills including written and oral communication with client
