Job Summary
As Superintendent, you will be responsible for supervision of Assistant Superintendents, Area Coordinators, and Field Engineers.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • As Superintendent, you will be responsible for supervision of Assistant Superintendents, Area Coordinators, and Field Engineers.
  • It is the primary responsibility of the Superintendent and his staff to maintain contractor, subcontractor and trades worker awareness of the dangers of construction and encourage the continuous vigilance in providing a safe work environment for all workers through the promotion of the safety culture described in the M+W Site Specific Safety Plan.
  • Have complete knowledge of the terms of the Construction Contract and of the construction documents; including the complete drawings (civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical and process systems); specifications; addenda; change documents; and any other pertinent documents.

Requirements
  • Five (5) plus years working as a construction superintendent on major construction projects
  • Ability to make decisions under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities to accomplish desired results.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills with ability and willingness to face challenges, direct others, and effectively address conflict.
  • Adhere to all company policies and regulations.
  • Computer Skills: proficiency using Procore, Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Project.
  • OSHA 30 hour training.
  • SWPPP training.
