Job Description
Responsibilities:
Support HR Generalists in various HR Admin tasks, e.g.
- Support new hires, terminations, employee status changes
- People movement data maintenance in the HR information system, attendance system
- Recruiting and training administration, employee event organization
Compensation and Benefits related works
- Prepares payroll related data, include tax changes, deductions, direct deposits, time sheet, rate changes, retroactive adjustments and special pays etc
- Manages the interface with the external payroll provider to perform monthly payroll
- Manages the payment process, include payroll vendor payment but not limited
- Manage the last payment for terminated employees (twice a week)
- Work with vendor to manage social insurance, housing fund for Chinese employees
Manage commercial insurance for employees
Manage the medical check
Reporting
- Standard and ad hoc HR reports and analyses
Time and attendance system support
- Work with department to align time and attendance management policy
- Maintains vacation, sick leave and worker's compensation records
- Work with system vendor to solve problem
Requirements:
- Communication and interpersonal skills with ability to explain HR policies and procedures
- Computer proficiency, i.e. Windows-based applications, MS Office (Excel especially), Internet, etc.
- Affinity to working with systems & reporting; experience with Sage or other HR systems prefered
- Analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to achieve results under tight deadlines and cope with multiple demands
- Willingness to work in a multicultural / global environment
