The Role

This exciting role has been made available in our fast growing and a dynamic company environment for the fixed term maternity cover for 6 months.

Key responsibilities

  • First point of contact for the local employees in the Netherlands and Belgium.
  • Immigration of expat employees in The Netherlands, including visa application, processing and advice to expats on visa and tax rulings, including 30% tax ruling when applicable.
  • On-boarding process from start to finish for new employees, including creating offers & contracts, liaising with IT to request equipment and access, and conducting inductions.
  • HR administrative tasks for The Netherlands and Belgium, including sick leave, special leave and maternity leave administration.
  • Managing employee files, change letters, benefit administration and extracting timely reports from HRIS.
  • Payroll administration, sending inputs to the global payroll team with the employee changes.
  • Support to managers and employees throughout the employee lifecycle in line with local law and RWS Company policies.

Requirements

  • Previous HR Administration experience.
  • Certified HR professional (MBO+)
  • Fluent in Dutch. Fluent in English is a plus, advanced level required.
  • Experienced and well versed in the Dutch and Belgium employment law.
  • Previous experience with HR system and reporting.
