Job Purpose
As a key player in the EMEA HR team, the successful applicant will be responsible for approximately 260 employees and will support the HR Business Partner by taking responsibility for many aspects of operational HR in a fast paced, dynamic and rapidly evolving organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring operational HR queries are dealt in a promptly manner and aligned with the values and growth of the business
- Supporting transition at a local and wider level
- Being the point of contact for employees´ day to day queries
- Supporting German offices with the HR related paperwork required
- Conduct new starters onboarding as required
- Assisting implementing new HR policies and procedures and ensuring existing policies are legally compliant
- Overseeing the HR procedure around the employee lifecycle utilising HRIS (D365) and related data sources
- Ensuring correct maintenance of employee data in the HRIS
- Creating and running HRIS reports to provide timely MI for stakeholders
- Assisting HR colleagues in relation to HR projects as required
- Ensuring HR documentation such as contracts, pay and changes to conditions are managed correctly
- Ensuring payroll input is complete correctly and in accordance with timelines
- Liaising with other internal teams and also service providers e.g. payroll
- Assisting with Corporate Social Responsibility and Employee Engagement activities
Skills & Experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (in both German and English)
- Proven generalist experience gained at Administration level
- Desirable knowledge of Germany’s Employment Law
- Desirable knowledge of payroll process and employee statutory entitlement
- Desirable HR qualification
- Desirable confident delivering presentations in face to face or remote settings
- Excellent interpersonal skills so that the RWS’s company values of collaboration and quality is sustained
- Good organisational skills and an ability to multi task
- Competent user of Microsoft Excel with the ability to manipulate data
- Able to work autonomously and confident in own decision making
- Experience of working within a fast paced, global organisation
