Position: HR Administrator.                   

Location: Maidenhead, UK (Open to consider any office location in UK or Remote)

Job Purpose

RWS are looking to recruit an HR Administrator to support our friendly and busy team. We are based from our Maidenhead Office, but this role has the potential for flexibility in location, and hours (part-time options also available). The HR Admin will benefit from working with an experienced team of global professionals who are passionate about delivering the very highest standard for the business.

Reporting to the HR Country Lead for UK & Ireland, this role will be responsible for executing day-to-day operational people services for employees and managers within the UK & Ireland. This will include delivery of both system based standardised HR processes, and high touch support, in alignment with agreed SLAs.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and process transactions in our HR Information System
  • Processing employee data for the entire life cycle of an employee whether they are a new hire, transfer or leaver
  • Be the front line first port of contact for employees, providing a first line response to triage, resolve, redirect, or escalate queries as appropriate.
  • Addressing complex requests and problem solving
  • Research and proactive management of cases
  • Be responsible for replying to queries sent to the shared HR mailbox
  • Execution of payroll processes including data integrity, accuracy in payroll input within the country/region and benefits administration.
  • Handle employee change letters for employees (salary increase, role change, manager change, references etc)
  • Execute on all processes linked to employee files & archiving.
  • Prepare various HR reports as required by internal customers
  • Managing the references and background screening processes for new starters.
  • Manage benefits administration (private medical, eye care, childcare vouchers, bike scheme) via use of online portals
  • Work with others to continually improve end-to-end HR services and operational services including driving adoption of self-service at country level.
  • Work with other HR team members to maintain consistency of policies, practices, and processes.
  • Provide support to CSR and site leader activities as required
  • Escalating issues to country manager in a timely manner.
  • Ad hoc project work, as assigned

 

Skills & Experience

Whilst previous HR administrative experience is desirable, no HR experience is required.

Successful applicants would benefit from having had previous experience working in an office environment.

  • Ideally, a Certificate in People Practice (CIPD Level 3)/or equivalent or be willing to work towards the qualification
  • A competent user of all Office 365 programmes
  • Confident learning new IT systems
  • Uses initiative and takes ownership
  • Good communicator who works well as part of a team
  • Time management skills
  • Able to work independently
  • Proactive
