If you want to work in a fast pace regional HR team with a high-level of responsibility, then this is an exciting opportunity. You will be working closely with the HRBP APAC and being responsible for supporting the delivery of integrated, comprehensive and commercially-focused HR solutions to the Asia Pacific client group as well as being the main HR contact for Taiwan office. This is a 12 month contract role.
Key responsibilities:
- Work closely with the HRBP APAC to design and deliver change projects and people initiatives that support the divisional and regional strategic objectives in partnership with the relevant Canter of Expertise
- Builds and leverages external and internal networks to enable well formed business decisions and best practise
- Uses people data and analytics to provide insight to leaders which facilitate data driven business decisions
- Support the business to drive a high performance culture i.e. advice on organizational design and support performance management process
- Partner with business managers to drive employee engagement and retention initiatives
- Develop communication strategies to raise employee awareness on various HR initiatives, their purpose and impact on employees
- Work closely with Finance and Business Managers on manpower planning and cost initiatives
- Manage the new hire on-boarding and induction program across Asia Pacific
- Work with local universities to development relationships for talent pipeline and build our brand.
- Partner with Global Graduate Recruitment team to support local campus hiring initiatives for internship and graduate programmes included building relationships with colleges, marketing the groups programmes and opportunities with target colleges and faculties
- Support resourcing partner in Hong Kong for job posting at local job boards, screening applications and conduct initial interviews as appropriate
- Work closely with HRBP APAC to develop and maintain our employer brand in the Asia market.
Key Behaviours and Skills Required to be Successful in theRrole:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Demonstrable experience as a HR Business Partner at a fast-growing, global matrix organization
Experience within Financial Services will be an advantage
Exceptional analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills;
Ability to exercise discretion and work independently;
Excellent client relationship building and networking abilities;
Aptitude and interest for learning new businesses and technologies;
Proven track record for supporting high growth, high performing teams in a fast paced environment.
Excellent communication skill in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written)
Flexible to travel (around 10-15%)
