- Manage Onboarding process for new hires and transferring employees
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure smooth new hire experience
- Take the lead on all scheduling logistics for our talent acquisition team’s needs including the coordination of phone, virtual and onsite interviews and offer preparation
- Employee contract/personnel file management
- Prepare letters such as employment offers, transfer letters, certificates of employment, visa letters etc.
- Monitor the accuracy of Workday records and facilitate corrections as required
- Update and maintain:Knowledge-based FAQs, HR Ops Standard Operating Procedures, HR Policies and Procedures, Holiday Calendar, Internal HR website
- Effectively educate employees and managers to refer to available resources and to use Tier 0 tools to find answers to questions on their own
- Support statutory-related reporting
- Work closely with functional departments (e.g. Payroll, Procure to Pay, C&B, People Success) to ensure process efficiency and accuracy of information being utilized
- Coordinate with local payroll for dissemination of salary or final payments
- Support processing of statutory benefits for all employees in accordance with the law
- Support employees on the application of resident permits/Hukou
- Propose solutions and assist in implementation/improvement of HR processes and procedures that deliver HR support to employees and managers more efficiently
- Participate in projects as assigned
- Manage off boarding process
- Manage Leave of Absence process
- Support L&D for trainings as assigned
- Excellent customer mindset a must
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a high degree of tact and diplomacy
- Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with high level of accuracy
- Proactive and must be a team player
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and a self-starter with the ability to work independently and prioritize workload
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Proven success acquiring new knowledge and learning new skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Workday
- Business English
- At least 2 years in HR with a background as HR Generalist, HR Operations, or HR Specialist.
