Job Description
Eaton at Haina, Dominican Republic has an open job for HR Analyst. This role is assigned to PCD (MCCB) Haina, with the following responsibilities: PRIMARY FUNCTION: Maintain, create and update all relevant actions to contribute with employee engagement and a meaningful work environment, that foster Eaton Leadership Attributes & aspirational goals. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Responsible to conduct communications regarding information that impacts employees: policies, procedures, congratulations, general changes, etc. Follow up business cases among employees or between employees and Supervisor, to ensure a positive work environment. Responsible for the follow up of employees’ cases (HRServices) to ensure data accuracy among HR software. Train, facilitate, and sustain changes oriented to Digitalization of HR processes Support all employee’s motivation activities; such as Mother’s /Father’s Day, recognition events, community involvement activities, among others Perform monthly analysis reports in order to maintain data to enable effective decision making Calculate, analyze and implement improvement actions on HR metrics: capabilities, culture (turnover, headcount, absenteeism, overtime, I&D, recognition, community involvement, etc) Responsible for monitoring site aesthetics of building assigned (cafeteria, common areas, medical area, etc) Support updates on communication venues for employees, such as newsletters, kiosks, electronic boards, etc. Responsible for employment contract ending process of all employees (hourly and salaried) Perform special projects to support HR strategies / initiatives Ensure legal compliance with Ministry of Labor on reporting and local practices deployment Lead employee’s investigations of cases assigned (ex.: conflicts, ethics, etc) Support employee survey action planning and execution Ensure HR leader standard work, and compliance with OpA / HR Operating review requirements. Maintain 5S areas assigned, as well as common employees files area. Responsibilities related to Health, Safety and Environment (EHS): Execute 100% of monthly safety inspection, in coordination with the MESH Coordinator. Assist to all EHS training assigned. Promote and promulgate all MESH. Process and Policies to all the employees across the Plant, and ensure that they are being performed #LI-DS1 Qualifications Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Accountant, Industrial Engineering; or related areas. Minimum 1 year of experience in Human Resources. Bilingual (English/Spanish) Computer knowledge: Microsoft Office (O365), Preferable: Oracle, SAP for RH Knowledge of: Labor Law, conflict management , Public Presentation Skills Competencies: Gets Results Through Self and Others, Promotes self-development, Digital Mindset. Conflicts involving situations between employees or between supervisor-supervised Discrepancy of information between HR systems information. Delays in sending information to the Ministry of Labor, causing losses in terms of demands of employees. Accuracy of information for both hourly and salaried personnel. Metrics align with limits / goals, for effective decision making. Maintaining updated information with the Ministry of Labor.
