Job Description

We are looking to add a China & APAC HR Assistant to our HR Policy/People Relations team. You will serve as a liaison between the China & APAC colleagues and People team and report to China HR Manager & APAC HR Manager. You will be an important member of the team in helping us drive the excellent HR service.

As a member of the team, you will assist the Regional HR Managers with assigned tasks and other HR related matters. Your working days will never look the same as priorities shift in a constantly evolving, fast-paced environment. Some of the day-to-day full lifecycle HR operations include onboarding, off-boarding, compensation & benefits, employee relations, performance management and providing support amongst other duties like running reports, data entry etc.

We’re looking for someone who has excellent time-management skills, the ability to multitask and can work freely under the pressure. While this role is passionate about the China & APAC, you will have interactions with all other colleagues/ team members around the globe.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Administering employee full lifecycle from onboarding, delivering new hire orientation, communicating benefit features, policies, and other related information to probation management including sending guidelines; Offboarding formalities support and follow up resignation survey
  • Supporting the full process on regional balanced working application process according to the policy
  • Supporting Regional HR Managers and Global Director Policy/ People Relations with letters preparation/ data entry within system with annual bonus, annual salary review process
  • Partnering with HR teams for processing employee compensation and bonus updates
  • Supporting the employee benefits and ongoing management, e.g., health assessment, allowances, union benefits, etc
  • Supporting the employee change management, e.g., transfer, promotion, or salary adjustment
  • Supporting the performance management, e.g., policy, tools, procedure & etc
  • Provide & guide colleagues on global & regional wellbeing resources. Support regional HR Managers for any wellbeing and people caring activities
  • Supporting the team with planning, organizing and prioritizing specific HR projects including but not limited to regional employee handbooks, onboarding experience, global colleague forum, employee training (HR Ops) and recommending policies
  • Compiling and preparing monthly reports and documents (i.e., new hire, headcount and terminations reports, employee letters, etc.) as needed
  • Resolving routine inquiries and problems requiring knowledge of divisional and departmental policies, procedures, and projects in progress in a timely fashion
  • Assisting Regional HR Managers with ad hoc HR projects as assigned

Qualifications

What we're looking for:

  • Good generalist with solid tracking of HR experience preferred
  • Good HR expertise preferred
  • Reliable, responsible, and a strong sense of HR professional ethics
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills are required
  • Ability to multitask and change direction in an ever-changing and fast-paced environment
  • Good resilience under the pressure
  • Ability to handle confidential/sensitive information, as required
  • Ability to work independently and proactively, as well as collaboratively with a global team
  • Robust technical skills, demonstrable experience in MS office; with eagerness to learn other systems
  • Proficient SAP experience preferred
  • Good communication in both English and Mandarin, verbal and written
  • Ability to meet deadlines with exceptional accuracy

  • We currently have capacity for this role to be based in either of the following locations: Singapore, or Beijing China. However, you must have the right to work and live in the region you reside in
