Job Description Summary

Works with appropriate Human Resources contacts and project lead to understand the project need and requirements that identify how these needs can be best addressed through process / applicable systems change.

Provide business data analysis support on the Reward Data Mapping project and other similarly related projects.

The HR Business Data Analyst will help deliver a global data mapping repository for all Reward/Benefit related components and elements in order to help introduce process standardisation across AstraZeneca by analysing existing processes/vendors/systems and helping identify process and performance improvement opportunities that enable the organisation to increase speed, reduce cost and increase quality of operations. You will work independently and in cross-functional groups, having responsibility for the delivery of the Reward Data Mapping repository with the support of the Global HR Data Lead. You will also be accountable for supporting projects across HR Services where applicable.

Typical Accountabilities:

  • Support the project in design and build a Reward Data Mapping repository
  • Design and build a questionnaire to the support capturing of reward data elements/vendors/systems across all markets / countries where AstraZeneca operates
  • Liaise with local contacts in Reward teams globally to complete the questionnaire and update the Reward Data Mapping repository
  • Track agreed project tasks and activities – inform Project Manager of progress
  • Assist PM/Global HR Data Lead in scheduling and facilitating design sessions when required
  • Assist with testing global processes with customers and HR
  • Provide process training for HR on how to complete the questionnaire
  • Work with colleagues in other Enabling Functions to facilitate the integration of cross-functional processes and consistent adoption of Business Process Management standards
  • Collect and analyses reward data components and elements across multiple vendors/systems – provide recommendation based on results of the analysis
  • Act as a central point to receive queries or questions about the Reward Data Mapping repository & questionnaire

Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  • Educated to Degree standard
  • Data management in Excel or other Databases
  • Process mapping expertise
  • Customer oriented with a service mind-set
  • Highly organised. Experience of project administration.
  • Active listener and good problem solver
  • Highly committed and prepared to go the extra mile
  • Working with multiple stakeholder groups in a global environment

Desirable:

  • HR background
  • Experience of operating in HR or a business service environment
  • Understanding and experience of using HR technology
  • Experience of involvement in process design projects
