Eaton Corporation’s Global Energy Infrastructure Solutions (GEIS) division is seeking an HR Manager. This is an onsite position based in Washington, PA and offers relocation. Position Overview: The primary function for this position is to be a high performing business partner leading the HR function for the Washington, PA manufacturing site. As part of the leadership team for the site, you will have overall responsibility for developing, directing, coordinating and maintaining all talent initiatives. This role will be responsible for the development and deployment of HR policies, programs, processes, and best practices throughout the manufacturing facility. The incumbent will be responsible for managing day-to-day employee and labor relations in accordance with legal, divisional, and corporate guidelines. Essential functions of the role include: Lead the HR function & strategy for roughly 170 employees spread across a 266,000 square foot facility on multiple shifts Develop HR talent by mentoring and developing the site’s HR Generalist Drive positive employee/labor relations to provide an optimal work environment for all employees. Effectively deploy communication plans and utilize assessment tools (e.g. employee survey) to determine organizational issues & action plans. Exemplify and lead Eaton values, philosophy & ethics. Manage labor relations with the local union which includes facilitating proper adherence to the collective bargaining agreement, partnering with union leadership and leading contract negotiations Build organizational capability through ownership of talent management processes including assessment, performance management, employee development and succession planning Manage local compensation for both salaried and hourly workforce, including benchmarking within Eaton & external marketplace data Support plant operations through planning headcount & manning levels & recruitment of all levels of staff, as required Lead in a variety of health and safety initiatives including but not limited to: Safety Category champion, Employee Engagement Team Lead, Ergonomics Team co-lead, and other safety/environmental programs established for the facility for a safe work environment Implement, promote and maintain a safe work environment by implementing a zero-incident culture Coach and influence leadership regarding policies, practices, laws and regulations to ensure all human resource policies and programs follow local and governmental regulatory requirements and are driving an engaged cultueK.
