The HR Business Partner (HRBP) an exciting role responsible for partnering with senior business leaders to influence and implement talent strategy in the business unit. The right candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment with extensive change and competing priorities. The HRBP will report to VP, HR Business Partner and collaborate with HR Operations and HR Corporate Centers of Excellence to drive tactical and strategic global business projects touching all aspects of HR including talent management, compensation, talent acquisition, learning and development, and analytics. Days are diverse and challenging, sometimes working on influencing and coaching and others executing and analyzing. The HRBP position must be based at Bentley headquarters in Exton, PA.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Partner:
- Create and implement vision for talent strategy in the business unit
- Develop organizational culture to support strategic objectives
- Succession Planning
- Workforce Planning
- Organizational structure to support strategic objectives
- Identify the talent needs of the business
- Identify and analyze critical HR metrics (i.e. attrition, engagement, movement, etc.)
- Assess the HR implications of strategic programs
HR and Business Bridge:
- Partner with HR COEs to develop programs, policies, and practices to support business needs
- Develop and communicate strategies to respond to changing business needs back to HR
- Prioritize across HR needs for processes like compensation increases, learning and development, etc.
- Communicate and adapt HR initiatives for maximum effectiveness in the business
Coach and Facilitator:
- Manage competing personalities in the organization
- Facilitate discussions with stakeholders in and outside of the business (i.e. Finance, IT)
- Resolve political problems in the execution of business plans
- Coach senior business leaders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or Finance plus 5-8 years HRBP experience.
- Demonstrated business acumen and analytical skills
- Excellent communication, collaboration, engagement, and diplomacy skills in dealing with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
- High level ability to prioritize and triage competing priorities, and balance response to maintain strong delivery rate
- Proven ability to coach, influence, and build rapport with internal and external stakeholders
- Innovative and creative approach to problem solving, planning and implementation
- Ability to act independently and quickly resolve problems and make decisions
- Solid organizational skills, including the ability to accomplish demanding timeline objectives, multi-task on assignments and be comfortable with change and continuous improvement
- Passion and sense of urgency for execution; natural curiosity and willingness to take risks; ability to use creativity to problem solve; ability to look at human resources in new and different ways; desire to make a difference
- Skilled in Microsoft Office tools and Talent Management systems
- Adaptable to change
Desired:
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or Finance
- IT industry experience and experience in a global organization also preferred
- PHR/SPHR designation
