To find out more about us check: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=baa_aiJ4L7E As an HR Business Partner (HRBP) You are responsible for providing HR leadership and support to Eaton Electrical Sector Sales Leaders and their teams in Austria and Switzerland. In this individual contributor role You report directly to the HR SEE (South-Eastern Europe) Zone Leader assissting in the deployment of key HR processes and initiatives in the Zone. Responsibilities include Talent management, Compensation & Benefits, Employee relations, Change management, Restructuring, Negotiations with Works Council, etc. The role will fulfil the following primary objectives: Business Partner: Act as business partner and advisor for the leaders and their team. Understand and contribute to the business strategies and identify opportunities to improve organizational capability Support Employee Relations activities by working with management to resolve conflict or controversy to facilitate achievement of established business objectives Drive the implementation on site of the business talent management strategy, organizational effectiveness, talent assessment/selection Manage the employee-life cycle (employer branding, recruiting, onboarding, talent development, etc.) and ensure compliance with local labor directives, legal and organizational requirements by partnering with TAC /Talent Acquisition Center), HRS (HR Support) and local country HR Teams. Specifically recruit all SB06 and below open positions Coordinate and support SEE (South-Eastern Europe) & AT & CH HR projects and processes by working closely together with the HR SEE Zone Leader and other HR colleagues Collaborate with the team of Corporate & Electrical HRBPs and Specialists to optimize / leverage standard work and support across the functions for items such as wellness, I&D, communications, Leadership Development, HR Services etc Collect, prepare and analyse HR data for management reports HR Functional Excellence: Build organizational capability to meet the current and future needs of the business; utilize data including OCA (Organizational Capability Assessment) to assess and address functional talent development Work in conjunction with the site leaders and teams to advance functional excellence (culture, employee engagement, Reset/Refocus); develop and support functional learning resources; deliver trainings as required; advise on functional competencies, developmental tools, methodologies, standardized job descriptions, functional colleges and other learning practices Ensure that all HR activities and programs are implemented in accordance with Eaton’s HR strategy and the Function’s strategy in collaboration with centralized resources (e.g., HR Services, COEs) Change agent: • Champion organization change to facilitate alignment of human capital plans to the business’s strategic plan. Drive culture change to align the organization with the strategy Compliance & Governance: Ensure Eaton’s internal processes, country laws and applicable labor relations requirements are communicated, understood and complied with within the functions and countries Being the first point of contact for all HR related issues (legal, organizational, etc.) and represents the HR function internally and externally. Works closely with the local works council Qualifications Your essential skills we are looking for: Degree in areas connected to human resources or certified HR specialized professional education >5 years’ experience in multi-national HR Operational and Management environment Proven performance in an HR role preferably with focus on sales function Fluent English and German, including verbal and written business language ability Knowledge of Austrian labor law and proficiency in working with the Works Council Experience in coaching and advising middle managers on business critical issues Desired skills: Exposure to Organization Development, including Organizational Change Management, Compensation, Talent Assessment, and Employment Law coupled with practical savvy for coaching management on these topics and applying the knowledge to training and deployment Experience in driving organizational and cultural changes in a complex environment, adaptable and comfortable in a changing, matrix management environment, able to shift from tactical to strategic Experience in introducing new HR initiatives/practices and in driving continuous improvement in a multinational environment The salary range for this position is above the collective agreement and, depending on training, qualifications and professional experience, is from EUR 63,000 gross annually.
