Job Description
The primary function of this position will be to develop, deploy and maintain a wide variety of human resources initiatives, activities and programs to the plant's employees and staff. Delivery of HR services in order to facilitate the attainment of business objectives while driving functional excellence. Responsible in the implementation of all human resources functional areas on: Employee engagement, employee relations and retention, Labor relations, drive communication structures Policy formulation Implementation of programs, tools and processes designed to improve management and employee performance and productivity Oversee and supervise the plant's security Essential functions: Perform all job functions with adhere to Eaton Philosophy and Values. Facilitate and ensure proper deployment and completion of performance management systems throughout the facility. Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures and maintain the employee guidebook as needed. Provide advice and guidance to management and employees on employment issues including company policy and procedures, terms and of employment and legislation. Provide input and evaluate processes to improve HR operational excellence, including Eaton Business System (EBS). Lead the Eaton wellness program Lead employee survey activities for the plant Drive continual improvements in the utilization of E-star recognition program. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or any related course. MBA is preferred Must have at least 5 years' experience performing HR Generalist activities in a manufacturing environment Must have strong Employee Relations / Labor Laws experience Position requires knowledge of all processes in the plant as well as a functional understanding of each support department. Knowledge of labor laws that impact HR department. Thorough experience in developing and administering policies and procedures. Proven track record in building and maintaining a positive, inclusive and professional "best practice" culture. Must have significant exposure to HR field through education and experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in MS office and reports generations.
