HR Business Partner/Manager

Job Description

Key Accountabilities/Duties:

1. Conducts weekly meetings with respective business units.

2. Work with management and the HR team to develop and implement HR plans and solutions

3. Develops, recommends and implements HR policies and procedures across the departments/divisions

4. Partner with business on organizational design, recruitment, workforce planning, succession planning, and skills assessment and development.

5. Partner with the business to lead objective setting, annual review processes which focus on performance management and talent development.

6. Provide compensation support including salary review, promotions

7. Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive competency needs.

8. Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.

9. Work with line managers and employees to address all types of employee relations issues, fairly representing all interests.

10. Work with business groups to assess, create and implement innovative solutions for a variety of employee engagement initiatives

Incumbent specification:

Education:

Bachelor Degree or above;

Experiences:

3 years above HR leadership experience, prefer has HRBP experience;


Skill Sets:

1. Good English language skills;

2. Experience in the development and administration of HR compensation plans.

3. Experience assessing management and executive talent.

4. Broad experience and specific knowledge of human resource theory, including employee relations, development and performance appraisal systems.

5. Excellent communication & negotiation skills;

6. Flexibility to manage multi-tasks.

7. Familiar with PeopleSoft or SAP system

8. Shipping industry knowledge is preferred.
