As an HR Business Partner for ORD, you will provide end to end Human Resources support, executing the people strategy/agenda and partnering with leadership teams across the organization.  You will apply your strong business acuity, data-driven insights and HR expertise to be a real strategic partner to the business as you deliver on people and organization solutions to accomplish the people strategy.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Provide people and organizational solutions across the ORD including the day-to-day tactical execution of HR issues and requirements of the organization.
  • Partner with the Global HRVP on all delivery to ensure alignment with the people strategy and flawless partnership and delivery across all levels.
  • Keep a pulse on the organization through measurement and monitoring of the needs of employees and the managers.
  • Partner with leaders and internal HR on the management of talent and succession planning.
  • Counsel leaders and be an encouraging advisor for employees.
  • Act as a culture steward for employee engagement, inclusion and diversity, and our AZ values.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years HR related experience
  • In-office role with flexibility up to 1 day a week virtual. Less than 5% travel.
  • Proven results orientation – delivering on daily HR work and balancing strategic execution of the people strategy.
  • Knowledgeable in several HR subject areas to include, but not limited to: performance and reward, employee relations, HR compliance, learning and development, talent acquisition, organizational change, strategic workforce planning.
  • Strong project management skills and able to demonstrate experience of leading sophisticated HR projects through a complete project life-cycle.
  • Prior experience supporting executive level leaders.
  • Demonstrable experience coaching, influencing, building, and using effective relationships to influence decisions through partnering.
  • Experience in partnership with HR centers of excellence (COEs) to execute objectives.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, growing business with a high rate of change. Self-starter with a dedication to execute at pace.
  • Strong emotional intelligence, listening, influencing and coaching skills.
  • Resilience, excellent communication and analytical skills.
