Job Description
  • Reward and Benefits
    • Carries out analysis of compensation and benefits data within the framework of the Global Reward Strategy.
    • Participating in reviews and projects including HRIS systems to leverage data available.
    • Presents output of analysis in the form of recommendations to inform compensation and benefits policy.
    • Uses external benchmarking to monitor the cost-effectiveness and competitiveness of the reward package.
    • Participates in projects and leads or participates in sub-processes, providing insights and recommendations that have a direct bearing on a compensation and benefits programme or process development.
    • Provides supports to the development of business area compensation and benefits policy and process, providing evidence to inform decision-making.
    • Independently delivers in a number of compensation areas, including salary survey submission.
    • Acts as primary contact accountable for resolution of issues related to identified benefits.
    • Supports in the communication of compensation and benefit provision both within and outside the HR teams.
    • Support projects, Global and local bringing total reward, performance, compensation and benefits practice together.
    • Payroll Management
      • Will perform a second-tier payroll checks and processing, query resolution and handle any non-routine queries from employees and line managers.
      • Assists in the development and execution of payroll strategy to ensure value is maximized to AZ, whilst maintaining critical supply of the service.
      • Ensures compliance with Processes and Legislation and works to minimize financial loss for the business through effective and timely processing.
      • Proactively drives continuous improvement across people, process and technology opportunities that will help service quality & standards provided to employees and team productivity.
      • Responsible for payroll services to the agreed performance standards, through effective measuring and monitoring, and correction of service issues across the cluster.

  • Strategic Talent Acquisition Planning Development
    • Leads the design and implementation of best-in-class recruitment programs and processes that align with business requirements.
    • Sets goals for the effectiveness of recruiting programs and employment processes and monitors the success of processes against these goals.
    • Responsible for compliance with corporate policies and procedures, as well as appropriate local laws and regulations related to employment.
    • Develops vendor relationships to ensure top level candidates are attracted to AstraZeneca.
