HR Data analyst

What you will do

As HR Data Analyst, you will support innovation projects for the Compensation & Benefits function and ensure excellent delivery of core data & processes. With strong analytical skills you will deliver data-based insights for HR and business leaders. You will play a key part in the Global Total Rewards Team, by ensuring Amgen's compensation infrastructure is continuously optimized.

Your responsibilities will include:

Developing an in-depth understanding and providing support on global compensation processes (e.g., Performance Management, Competitive Benchmarking, Salary Structure Development, Job Leveling, etc.)

Performing data validation in C&B systems (i.e., Workday, MarketPay, Visier) to prepare for annual compensation processes and ensure internal and external data integrity (e.g., salary structures, market information)

Secondary driver and administrator for rollout of new technologies for C&B team

Providing ongoing systems training and communication for C&B team to enable  effective use of C&B systems and platforms

Managing and maintaining global C&B tools and templates

Partnering with Compensation Sr manager to develop innovative data analytics

Partnering with Compensation Sr manager to identify areas and opportunities for automation and new technologies to advance C&B practices

Working with other HR disciplines to optimize and combine data insights - like talent management

Accountable for survey data submission process globally

Supporting local and regional C&B HUBs with Ad Hoc analysis, offers, process and project work and on local benefit reviews to evaluate need for changes in plans/programs

Actively participating as a member of the global C&B team

C&B HUB support when team members are on leave/vacation

What we expect of you

Proven experience and skills needed:

Master’s degree
1-2 years of related work experience (consulting, data analytics, HR)
Highly developed analytical ability
Excellent user of Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
Effective communicator with experience working between diverse clients
Fluency in English, both in written and oral communication

Preferred Requirements

Experience with Artificial Intelligence / data analysis
Advanced Excel skills – ability to perform deep technical analysis and build formulas to analyse data sets
HR/Compensation experience
Project management experience
Multinational company work experience
