The role is Head of HR for Asia Pacific and the Strategic HRBP to the Regional VP for the APJ Field Organization. This will involve managing all aspects of HR for approximately 1,200 employees across 4 sites in China (Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Nanjing) and our sites in Taiwan, Korea, and Singapore.
Reporting to the VP of International HR and leading a team of around 15 people, the job holder will ensure that the HR service provided in the region is aligned with our people strategy for this fast-growing region, partnering closely with global HR business partners and business leaders to help deliver on the people related aspects of our business priorities.
Key focus areas include, but are not limited to talent acquisition and retention, employer branding, employee engagement, employee development, coaching leaders and managers on organizational challenges, identifying and recommending responses to market trends, and helping to shape local company culture through the implementation of corporate and local HR programs, policies and practices.
Cadence in Asia is a highly matrixed organization with multiple business and functional groups running in global verticals. The HR Head must partner closely with all key stakeholders in the region, helping drive consistency across the region. They will also need to build strong relationships with key functional leaders to make sure they understand the trends and future business plans which may impact the region
This job holder also needs to be able to act as a bridge between the region, global HRBP’s and functional leaders outside the region and will play a critical role with local functional and site leaders, helping drive collaboration and consistent communications across the many different business groups located in the region.
