Responsible for creating and defining the business process(es) within a specific group or function. Develops requirements and application testing. Develops strong relationships with customers to understand business processes and identify value drivers. Responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of human resource information systems associated with the collection, retrieval, accessibility, and usage of employee information. Responsibilities are include data testing and troubleshooting. May perform testing and quality checks to ensure business and data quality requirements. Evaluates software and hardware needs and may design new or modify existing processes and systems to meet changing demands, and ensures data interface communications internally and externally.
Our team is focused on workday core, handling end to end global business processes such as hire, job changes, terminations, personal information. Additionally, we also support merger and acquisition and employee records processes.
This team also handles and supports cross functional projects and supports testing and releases of workday system.
We are seeking an Analyst of Employee Data to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for:
Participate in cross functional projects related to Core business processes for HR
Develop and design an audit process to quantify data quality handled by our team
Develop strong relationships with customers to understand business processes and identify value drivers.
Work across different departments identifying root cause of data problems, documenting the quality issues, addressing solutions and implement process improvement initiatives to solve them
Participate and perform testing and quality checks during the implementation of new versions of our HR system of records or process enhancements
Act as subject matter expert and support HR and Core business processes and tasks
Performs analytical deep-dives and ad-hoc reporting to identify problems, opportunities and actions required.
Owns core HR data integrity including scheduled/repeating audits (data quality), corrections and controls.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, System Engineering, Business Administration.
3+ years of proven experience in data analytics in a related department
Advanced English level to express ideas clearly and simply
Advanced knowledge of Excel and MS Office
Must have permanent-unrestricted right to work in Costa Rica.
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in Employee Data or Business Analyst role
Knowledge in Workday, Peoplesoft or SAP
