Job Description
Eaton’s VGNA is currently seeking a HR Generalist to join our team. This position is based at our Aguascalientes Facility. The HR Generalist is responsible to provide support to plant HR initiatives, and functional areas including recruitment, employees’ records, continuous improvement programs, and establishing and maintaining a positive employee relations climate. To provide leadership support for high-performance work teams. This position has responsibility for metric measurement and communication of initiatives progress. Some activities related with the position will be: Responsible of recruiting, screening, interviewing and selection of all hourly and SB06 and below positions Maintains hourly employee’s file with legal requirements such as birth certificate, school certificates, employment contract, IMSS, assuring confidentiality of the information is maintaining. Prepared and send the appropriate reports to the IMSS on time. (less than five days) Continue to expand understanding of Eaton human resources policies and programs. Support plant employee relations activities which foster and maintain our plant well being status. Serve as liaison for plant personnel to address employee relations issues. Follow up on all employee/supervisor/manager requests. Develop, administer and maintain employee suggestion/involvement programs Coordinate employee services, Cafeteria and Transportation. Assist in the preparation on HROR Administers programs, projects, and/or processes specific to the operating unit served. Perform higher level duties involving employee communications, such as pre-employment screening, responding to routine questions on human resources policies and procedures, identifying potential issues and grievances, etc. Organize recognitions events; i.e., Special dinners, Service recognition, Christmas party, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, etc. Assist in the preparation and control of records, statistics, and reports regarding operations, personnel changes, etc. Serve as administrative liaison with others within and outside the company regarding administrative issues. Demonstrate the application of the 8 CIF modules and support related initiatives on daily basis through establishing, maintaining and complying his/her Standard Work and other tools. Participate in Kaizen events, Lean Council and Continuous Improvement teams when required. Generate ideas for improvement according with the local programs. Implement and optimize Lean Management tools. Sustain the ELLS tools (VSM, 5´s, TMP, STW, set up, Problem Solving, Materials Management and 6 Sigma) to drive the continuous improvement performance when apply. #LI-UH1 Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: 3 years minimum working experience in Human Resources or a related field, including demonstrated knowledge of employment regulations ant issues Bi-lingual (Spanish and English-language capability, speaking, reading & writing) Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization Ability to build trust & maintain confidentiality is critical Demonstrated organizational & prioritization skills Preferred Qualifications: Required working knowledge and experience with computers, preferably with Microsoft Office applications. Ability to demonstrate effective leadership skills required. Must be able to demonstrate good service attitude. Must be able to work on all shifts as required Demonstrated ability to work with little direction, and effectively operate in a team-oriented environment required.
