Location: The ideal candidate will be located near our Exton, PA or Huntsville, AL office with the ability to commute at least 1-2 days per week.

Bentley is looking for an HR Manager to join our skilled HR Operational Excellence team. Reporting to the Senior HR Manager, United States, Canada & Latin America, the HR Manager will implement best practices, and drive efficiencies across HR processes. You will have the opportunity to work with talented colleagues and senior leaders throughout our entire organization. As an influential HR Advisor you will have the opportunity to partner with the corporate centers of excellence to drive global functions such as talent management, compensation, talent acquisition, learning and development, and analytics.

 

Responsibilities cross all functions within HR, including but not limited to employment, compliance, talent acquisition, talent management, compensation, benefits administration, global mobility, talent systems and analytics, timekeeping, and terminations. Due to the variety and breadth of responsibilities, we are looking for a dynamic HR professional who can think critically, act strategically and apply knowledge to the topic at hand to resolve issues. Your Day to Day:

Deliver operational excellence by enabling efficient and effective onboarding, off boarding, colleague relations, talent management, and HR compliance, both as an individual and within a team of skilled HR professionals

  • Execute key HR processes, policies, procedures and programs across various US states, while driving continuous improvement
  • Maintain knowledge of legal federal and state requirements related to day-to-day management of colleagues in the United States, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Contribute to and maintain a quality, equitable, and inclusive work environment
  • Provide coaching and advice to managers and colleagues in employment matters as a strategic and tactical HR advisor
  • Build relationships with new colleagues via orientation and onboarding follow-up
  • Assist in the deployment of talent management programs and procedures supported by the talent management system
  • Develop and communicate HR policies and procedures
  • Assist in corporate HR compliance functions
  • Implement and complete annual and quarterly HR projects
  • Lead and support HR projects and other general ad hoc HR duties.

  • Query turnaround time & proactiveness in completing the tasks.
  • Willingness to explore new areas/venture into new HR projects. 
  • Knowledge sharing with the other HROE team members.
  • Demonstration of Bentley values everyday

 

What You Bring to the Team:

  • At least 4 years’ experience in a hands-on HR Generalist role; previous HR Management experience preferred
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of Human Resources Management in the US, preferably in a multi-state or global environment
  • Solid organizational skills, including the ability to accomplish demanding timeline objectives, prioritize assignments, and be comfortable with change and continuous improvement
  • A high level of interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively as well as handle sensitive and confidential situations with care
  • A desire to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
