The Internal Services Professional role sits within GBS Hire 2 Retire (H2R) Services. The role involves working closely with various Stakeholders and Service Providers, both internal and external, influencing GBS system and data strategies. It also requires a flexible approach to a variety of activities, such as contributing to projects and BAU demands/reporting, analysing, and developing data, regular annual activity, process improvement and technical problem solving across systems. Feel free to click on this link to see what it’s like to work here; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-vmmNjaEr04 Areas of Responsibility: •As a Subject Matter Expert, provide support & consultancy on the use of HR systems relating to GBS, assessing incoming requirements, making local and global recommendations for proposed solutions •Influence the effectiveness and accuracy of data flow across GBS systems and processes (e.g.HR Cloud/Workday, Payroll & Benefits providers) •Understanding of the technical detail behind GBS system processes and their link to the employee lifecycle •Support various projects where HR systems are affected, representing the department, working independently and providing valuable ideas and input. •Produce accurate reports including design reports based on ad hoc requirements •Analysis and development of data for example, to support strategic decision making, or to demonstrate GBS Service performance •Contribute to a pro-active use of our systems in the operations and support the implementation of changes where necessary, e.g. Impact Analysis Documentation/Change Requests. •Be the ‘Expert’ for end user support and guidance across the region and share best practices. •Co-ordinate varying levels of user acceptance testing for change releases to systems or self services across the region, either country specific or region wide changes. •Input to/identify operational efficiencies related to the GBS systems and processes •Understand and support data processes for global and local systems & interfaces •Support Global and Local Merges and Acquisitions project activity where required What skills and experience you will bring to the role: •Understanding of varying business needs across different global cultures •Whilst the role holder is not expected to be a true IT professional, the person will need to be skilled in translating a business process automation requirement clearly to technical consultants. •Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Applications •Working independently to manage key activity, prioritising and remaining calm under pressure. •Creative thinking leading to pro-active contribution to the department •Understanding of the employee life cycle and HR Administration processes •Understanding of varying business needs across different cultures •Flexibility required in terms of working hours and travel will be required •Ability to communicate ‘technical’ matters both orally and in writing to technical and non-technical people alike •Logical, analytical and methodical approach to problem solving •Experience of supporting and/or implementing HR and/or Payroll related change •An awareness of and/or experience of HR systems and Self Service Technology •An awareness of and/or experience of HR procedures •Experience of User Acceptance Procedures •Experience of working within a shared service environment We’ve got quite a lot to offer.
