To find out more about us check: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=baa_aiJ4L7E The HR Leader Benelux is responsible for leading, shaping and building the new established Human Resources Function for all employees in the Benelux that belong to the Electrical sector (e.g. Critical Systems, Energy Transition & Digital & Services, Sales & Marketing, and all other hosted functions and businesses). This role is also responsible for driving, optimizing and standardizing HR processes and policies to enable unified employee and key stakeholder experience. The HR Leader Benelux is responsible for providing Human Resources leadership and support to all assigned business entities. Being an architect and executor of the local HR agenda that closely supports the overall aims of the Eaton organization, the incumbent drives the execution of the Eaton HR strategy with the HR team in the Benelux and drives cross operations coordination & integration/alignment with the business entities. He/she will provide daily support by managing and administering plans and/or programs to ensure the most effective utilization of human resources to support business objectives, establishing solid partnerships and driving functional excellence. Your main responsibilities: Act as partner, solution provider, advisor and counsellor for the cross organizational leadership team in Benelux (plant manager, zone manager, CSU manager, finance, EHS, etc). Understands local & business needs , labour trends and identifies opportunities to improve organizational capability locally and collaboration across business entities.. Partners with the different Business stakeholders and their HRD's to align on key strategies required in the zone to support both the Businesses and HR strategy implementation Leads the entire HR team in the Benelux belonging to the electrical Sector and builds one strong & collaborative team. Supports the team in deploying the HR strategy and optimizing/leveraging standard work and support for performance management, wellness, Inclusion & Diversity, employer branding, communications, leadership development, remuneration & harmonisation of Comp & Ben structures, HR Services, etc. Drives continuous improvement within the Benelux HR team and actively seeks for opportunities to outsource transactional HR work to HR Services in Budapest. Delivers on assigned projects. Supports investigation process led by ethics and compliance as needed. Drives cultural change to align organization with the Eaton strategy in support of HRD and Business leaders. Designs and delivers local HR practices that create and maintain the desired culture. Creates a positive employee & labour relations culture. Supports Employee & labour Relations activities by working with employee representative bodies (e.g. works councils and unions) to facilitate achievement of established business objectives. Drives further collaboration between works councils in the Netherlands and is the primary contact for WC along with other HR team members as needed. Builds organizational capability to meet the current and future needs of the business in support of HRD and Business leaders needs. Utilize various talent management processes to assess and address future development needs, including succession planning, talent acquisition, diversity, retention and tracking of local talent actions. Supports the leadership in the establishment of an effective talent management and succession planning process across all business entities in support of HRD and HRBP objectives. Manages operational Compensation and Benefits processes in the Benelux in alignment with EMEA Comp & Ben team. Drives further harmonisation, optimization of remuneration, compensation and benefits according to the Eaton Total Rewards Philosophy and local labour processes. Your main deliverables: Set direction, priorities and culture expectations while championing Eaton Values & Philosophies and the Eaton Business System (EBS) by driving the utilization of performance metrics, continuous improvement principles and change management plans, while maximizing employee ownership and engagement Works closely with leadership team in the Benelux to advance functional excellence (culture, employee engagement, collaboration). Provides leadership team and all local leaders of people guidance and mentoring. Develops and implements solutions to organizational challenges by leading / coaching others through change. Provide coaching and feedback as needed to help Build Organizational Capability. As the role will be based in the Netherlands, the HR Benelux leader will also be responsible for developing collaborative relationship with Unions and Work Councils members in the Netherlands. In charge of leading labour negotiations with Work Council, as needed. The role requires regular presence in both locations. Responsible for Eaton processes and guidelines especially relating to compliance, time management and vacation, incentive pay definitions and administration, rules and regulations, working practices. Be the champion for and support the talent acquisition and employer branding processes within the organization in collaboration with Talent Acquisition COE. Ensure the talent pipeline for the future, assess and select talent, and coach managers on the process. This will be measured through the health of the succession plan for the zone. Design and deliver local HR practices that create and maintain the desired culture of One Eaton. Work towards automating and centralizing tasks that can be done from the HR Service Centre or the Centres of Expertise in the region. Optimise the administrative processes, in particular in Belgium, Netherlands and Luxemburg. Prepare the workforce for change. Use assessment tools and metrics to diagnose organizational issues and work with the senior Benelux Leadership Team to drive effective change and transformation. Identify the learning, training, and development needs of the organization and deploy effective training plans, which may include running workshops in collaboration with COEs As a member of the extended EMEA Human Resource team, play a full role in projects and initiatives for the electrical EMEA HR organisation. May also take a leadership role in some of the EMEA wide projects. Qualifications Your essential skills we are looking for: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related subject required (MBA or Master in HR preferred) 7-10 years’ experience in similar role and relevant years of progressive HR Professional experience in a progressive multinational, thereof > years of managerial experience Strong employee relations experience in NL and understanding of Dutch labour law; knowledge and experience of change management processes and continuous improvement. Experience in driving organizational and cultural changes in a complex environment. Track record of process optimization and harmonization efforts to improve HR productivity. Experience in partnering with senior leadership to create and drive strategic HR and key organization initiatives on multi sites in multiple countries. Ability to manage a busy and diversified workload which can alternate between operational and strategic. Change management, Assessment & Selection, Compensation & Benefits, Talent Management, Wellness, Labour Relations, Inclusion & Diversity, Matrix Organisation Experience in working for an international company with a matrix organization structure and multiple stakeholders to support. Analysing data. Experience with driving employee engagement, execution of leadership development programs, change management and continuous improvement. Strong employee relations skills with the proven ability to successfully drive change and leadership ownership/accountability. Coaching/facilitation/conflict management skills. Demonstrated ability to build organizational capability, effectively communicate ideas/thoughts to all levels of the organization. Working knowledge of employment/labour law. Focus on collaboration and teamwork. Solution oriented and high degree of initiative as well as willing to work and engage in a committed team.
