Eaton’s Hydraulic Division is currently seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our team. This position is based at our Newbern, TN location. Relocation is provided. Position Overview: The HR Manager is responsible to develop, implement and administer Human Resources policies, practices, strategies and services across the Cleveland, TN distribution center. This role assures all Human Resources activities are compatible with our corporate values, vision and mission. The HR Manager counsels and influences leadership regarding policies, practices, laws and regulations and monitors application to ensure positive and equitable employee relations. This person will act as a business partner, manage corporate processes and programs as well as plan, develop and implement employee communication, recognition and motivational programs to enhance the working environment while attracting and retaining superior talent. In this function you will: Empowerment, engagement and retention of employees Administering employee relations policies and procedures in response to employee and customer needs Monitoring performance management procedures to assure fair and equitable treatment for all employees Providing guidance to leadership team peers on motivating, counseling, and developing direct and indirect reports, as well employee performance improvements Represent the Company’s programs, policies, and procedures in matters involving EEOC, AAP, and OFCCP Develop, implement and monitor compliance with affirmative action policies that meet federal and state legislation as well as Corporate policy Advancing the organization’s objectives through the recruitment, selection and promotion of qualified applicants in alignment with Equal Employment Opportunity Coordinating training and development programs, including new employee orientation, to meet the needs and objectives of individuals and departments Managing the performance appraisal system, salary planning and overall development Representing the facility in community activities and engagement, such as United Way campaign When we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we — as individuals and as a company — are stronger. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution Minimum 2 years of HR work experience or graduate of Eaton’s internal HR Leadership Development Program Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship Preferred qualifications: Master’s degree in Human Resources or Business 3 years of experience in the Human Resources function Specialized knowledge of the interpretation of laws, regulations and standards, and enforcement agencies for equal employment opportunities, safety, wage and hour, unemployment, workers’ compensation and labor law Eaton has announced it has reached an agreement to sell its Hydraulics Business to Danfoss A/S. This transaction is expected to be completed by the end of Q2 in 2021 and this position is expected to remain with the Hydraulics Business and would transfer to Danfoss A/S. upon close. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton’s plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Hydraulics Business when the transaction closes, Danfoss A/S will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.
