The HR Leader is responsible for leading, shaping and building the Human Resources Function and is responsible for driving, optimizing and standardizing HR processes and policies to enable unified employee and key stakeholder experience. The HR Leader is responsible for providing Human Resources leadership and support to all assigned business entities. He/She/They are the architect and executor of the local HR agenda that closely supports the overall goals of the Eaton organization, the incumbent will drive the execution of the Eaton HR strategy with the HR team in the site and drives cross operations coordination & integration/alignment with the business entities as required. He/she/they will provide daily support by managing and administering plans and/or programs to ensure the most effective utilization of human resources to support business objectives, establishing solid partnerships and driving functional excellence This position serves as the expert on areas such as local HR strategy implementation, local organizational development and effectiveness, talent management and development, staffing and retention, succession planning, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee and labor relations, diversity, legal compliance, general administration and payroll. This position is a key member of the various site management teams as well as being a key member within the Critical Systems Division & Romanian HR Community. In addition, the position is accountable to support and deploy the overall corporate objectives and programs including the company’s culture, values and guiding principles. Your main responsibilities: Set direction, priorities and culture expectations while championing Eaton Values & Philosophies and the Eaton Business System (EBS) by driving the utilization of performance metrics, continuous improvement principles and change management plans, while maximizing employee ownership and engagement Works closely with leadership team in Arad Romania to advance functional excellence (culture, employee engagement, collaboration). Provides leadership team and all local leaders guidance and mentoring. Develops and implements solutions to organizational challenges by leading / coaching others through change. Provide coaching and feedback as needed to help Build Organizational Capability. Responsible for Eaton processes and guidelines especially relating to compliance, time management and vacation, incentive pay definitions and administration, rules and regulations, working practices. Be the champion for and support the talent acquisition and employer branding processes within the organization in collaboration with Talent Acquisition COE. Ensure the talent pipeline for the future, assess and select talent, and coach managers on the process. This will be measured through the health of the succession plan for the plant. Design and deliver local HR practices that create and maintain the desired culture of Eaton. Work towards automating and centralizing tasks that can be done from the HR Service Center or the Centers of Expertise in the region by optimizing the administrative processes. Prepare the workforce for change. Use assessment tools and metrics to diagnose organizational issues and work with the local leadership team to drive effective change and transformation. Identify the learning, training, and development needs of the organization and deploy effective training plans, which may include running workshops in collaboration with COEs As a member of the extended EMEA Human Resource team, play a full role in projects and initiatives for the electrical EMEA HR organization. May also take a leadership role in some of the EMEA wide projects. Understands local & business needs, labour trends and identifies opportunities to improve organizational capability locally and collaboration across business entities. Supports investigation process led by ethics and compliance as needed. Qualifications Your essential skills we are looking for: Capable of leading organizational redesign projects Educated at Bachelors’ degree, preferably in HR. Master’s degree is preferred. Coming with minimum 5 years HR leadership experience within the manufacturing industry Experienced in change management projects Possessing demonstrated working knowledge of Romanian employment legislation Prior experience with project management roles is beneficial Possessing business acumen with financial skills, especially cost centre management and business case analysis and development.
