Job Description
One of the top priorities for Global Sales and Marketing Organization is to strengthen our talent, leadership, and culture to win in this new era. The hiring and development of early in career talent (university and MBA graduates) is core to our people development strategy. Our goal is to hire the best and the brightest global university and MBA talent into Microsoft Aspire Experience program, and provide them with relevant experiences, focused training, and online resources that accelerate their knowledge of Microsoft and increase their impact today and in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Program Strategy: Partner with Business Leaders, HR Leaders and related HR teams to make program strategy of Microsoft Aspire Experience to best attract, develop to retain Aspire talents for GCR Go-To-Market business group.
  • Program Design: Lead the design of GCR Aspire experience ensuring alignment with GCR HR team and global Aspire program; Partner with business leaders and HR teams to build optimal development experiences for participants, mentors, managers, leaders and HR.
  • Program Management: Build strong connection with university and MBA participants from interview stage, onboarding, in-program experience, to alumni status. Provide appropriate communication with Aspire hires, Mentors, Managers, and Alumni to achieve different purposes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong global partnerships across GTM to increase visibility and support of the program and the overall GCR GSMO talent strategy. Increase the knowledge of stakeholders and create clarity of the important role they play in onboarding and developing Aspire talents.
  • Manager Empowerment: Provide the right level of manager support to increase manager’s ability to create robust roles, leverage their team’s talent and build their capability. This includes coaching, manager briefing sessions, etc.
  • Aspire Talent Talk: Lead Aspire talent discussion with business leaders, based on people data, provide recommendations to make talent strategy.
  • Aspire Community: provide coach and support to help Aspires build a GCR Aspire community that provides Aspires with a platform to connect, learn and increase their commitment to Microsoft.
  • Trusted Advisor: Act as trusted advisor to Aspire hires and managers. Act as the go to person for all GCR Aspire related for GCR HR team, Aspire employees, managers and Global Early Career Team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree required, Microsoft experience & MBA preferred
  • Excellent Project management and organization skills required, including ability to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, ability to communicate effectively and concisely - both orally and in written form and to effectively engage with all key stakeholders and collaborate with multiple teams to achieve specific objectives
  • Strong analytical skills required, including ability to analyze multiple sources of data and recommend actions based on analysis
  • Strong business acumen
  • Ability to travel internationally up to four times a year
