Purpose of the Job
  • Maintains and enhances the human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
  • Be Responsible for the human resources activities consisting of national and local labor legislation/regulations compliance programs, safety, employee benefits, wage and salary administration, employment/recruiting, training, public relations, labor union harmonization and security.
  • Develops and coordinates personnel policies, procedures and programs within the scope of company philosophy, objectives, and policies.
  • Creates a safe working & motivated environment and effective training and development programs that creates a working environment, which is conducive to maximum employee efficiency and productivity.
Your Role
1. HR Function
  • Leads the site HR team on operational services delivery with high efficiency and quality.
    • Sets up HR system, policies & procedures to align with Group HR as well as Regional HR to support the achievement of company objective and Plant KPI.
    • Assists GM to design and develop organization structure.
    • Develops X+1 workforce plan based on operation X+1 plan, and recruit & select the right people for the right position at the right time.
  • Learning & People Development
    - Provides the plant with employee training and development programs in order to develop existing personnel to their full potential for obtaining established performance standards.
    • Deeply involves in the PPM cycle and talent review program, prepares and monitors the PIP, PDP.
  • C&B
    • Manages merit increase, annual bonus system, promotion and JE request, and special awards. Makes sure the on-time and accurate payroll payment.
    • Closely works with Corporate HR C&B team to administer the job evaluation program in order to relate each position to values that are equitable to other positions in the company and to similar positions in the competitive labor market. Administers all benefit programs in accordance with the corporate practices and procedures to assure conformity and cost objectives are met; Controls the manpower cost on basis of overtime management & manpower management.
    • Ensures 100% compliance of labor laws and Group Policies.
  • Employee Relationship
    • Develops effective communications programs such as employee opinion polls, input groups to assure employee motivation, participation and activities.
  • Industrial relations
    • Carries out an active role in promoting and representing Bekaert in outside professional activities. Maintains contact with outside sources to ensure human resources activities are competitive and consistent with industry practice, maintains an active role in community and governmental affairs to promote and represent Bekaert.
2. Admin function
- Leads the team to provide high quality admin services to employees, including canteen, housekeeping, shuttle bus, reception, meeting arrangement, etc.
  • Sets up and implement policies and procedures concerning all above Admin functions, makes sure a consistent practice of admin service.
  • Finds out continuous improvement opportunities through regular audit and daily inspection.
  • Establishes feedback mechanism to collect opinions/suggestions from employees and line managers.
  • Inculcates Admin team with the sense of service and internal customer orientation.
  • Timely feedbacks the service quality of suppliers to purchasing department, in order to have better service and better suppliers.
3. Others
- Manages and develops HR team.
  • Assists GM with other jobs, e.g., plant activities, external communications, 5S etc.
Your Profile
  • Bachelor Degree or above.
  • 7 years work experience in HR, Admin functions, Minimum 3 years work experience at management level in multi-national company.
  • Having experience in handling multi-tasks.
  • Good command of both written and spoken English.
  • Good listening & communication skills.
  • Result driven, customer orientation, talent focus and having innovation abilities.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills.
