The HR Manager, Budapest Business Service Center (HRM BSC) has responsibility for providing strategic and tactical HR leadership and support to business and functional leaders and their teams at the Eaton Business Service Center in Budapest, Hungary. The BSC is home to many key Global and EMEA Corporate, Electrical & Industrial businesses and functions, and is a pivotal hub to Eaton's growth and Digital Transformation The HRM BSC plays a key role in establishing, embedding and expanding the different businesses and functions that are in BSC. As the BSC expands, the HRM BSC is responsible for embedding Eaton's Business System across the site, and partners with HR Services and HR CoE teams to embed robust HR policies and practices. By leveraging centralized resources (e.g. HR Services, COEs), the HRM BSC provides full spectrum HR support to leaders and teams via direct support and collaborates with regional and global HR partners supporting employees locally. The HRM BSC drives the site's talent management strategy, organizational effectiveness, cultural & structural changes, and any employee relations management within the BSC in partnership with global and regional partners. As a member of the BSC leadership team, the HRM BSC establishes an overall site engagement plan, along with goals and strategic plans for each group in BSC, particularly related to human capital needs. The HRM coaches and influences leaders to improve performance and leader effectiveness. As a member of the HR Corporate & Electrical Functions & Corporate Offices Team in EMEA, the HRM BSC actively participates in the implementation of the EMEA HR strategy and collaborates closely with the team’s HRBPs and HR Specialists. Your main duties: 1. Simplification & Digitalization Proactively streamline and optimize site HR policies and processes, fully utilizing the HR support services (eg HR Services and HR CoEs) and Eaton’s digitalization efforts. Partner with team of Corporate HRBPs and Specialists to create capacity and leverage capability in driving key engagement and development initiatives. 2. Business partner _ Act as business partner, solution provider, advisor and counselor for the site leaders and teams. Understand and contribute to the business strategies and identify opportunities to improve organizational capability. Act as a role model and sponsor for Eaton Values and Philosophy. Support Employee Relations activities by working with management to resolve conflict or controversy to facilitate achievement of established business objectives. 3. Change agent _ Champion organization change to facilitate alignment of human capital plans to the function’s strategic plan. Drive culture change to align the organization with the strategy. Lead the people aspects of the Playing to Win, Digital Transformation and Future Ready strategies for the function in EMEA. 4. Compliance & Governance _ Ensure Eaton’s internal processes, country laws and applicable labor relations requirements are communicated, understood, and complied with within the functions and countries. 5. HR Functional Excellence _ a. Build organizational capability to meet the current and future needs of the business; utilize data including OCA (Organizational Capability Assessment) to assess and address functional talent development needs, including succession planning, talent acquisition, organization design, diversity, retention and tracking of OCA actions. b. Work in conjunction with the site leaders and teams to advance functional excellence (culture, employee engagement, Reset/Refocus); develop and support functional learning resources; develop training plan and deliver trainings as required; advise on functional competencies, developmental tools, methodologies, standardized job descriptions, functional colleges, and other learning practices. c. Proactively drive simplification of HR processes in BSC, optimizing and maximizing the support offered by HR Services. d. Ensure that all HR activities and programs are implemented in accordance with Eaton’s HR strategy and the Function’s strategy in collaboration with centralized resources (e.g., HR Services, COEs). These include talent acquisition; talent management & organizational effectiveness; employee survey; compensation & benefits; mobility; rewards & recognition; performance management; inclusion and diversity; health, safety and employee wellness; human resources administration; human resource information systems; payroll; employee communications; employment/industrial/labor relations; right-sizing activities; mergers, acquisitions & divestitures activities; HR governance. 6. Team _ Collaborate with the BSC Leadership Team and team of Corporate & Electrical HRBPs and Specialists to optimize / leverage standard work and support across the functions for items such as wellness, I&D, communications, Leadership Development, HR Services etc. Drive continuous improvement within the BSC and deliver on assigned projects. Qualifications Required: Bachelor Degree in HR or equivalent HR certification 10 years’ experience in multi-national HR Operational and Management environment across EMEA Experience in partnering with senior leadership to create and drive strategic HR and key functional organization initiatives on a regional scale Experience in coaching and advising senior executives on business-critical issues Experience in driving organizational and cultural changes in a complex environment Experience in Organization Development, including Organizational Change Management, Compensation, Talent Assessment, and Employment Law coupled with practical savvy for coaching management on these topics and applying the knowledge to training and deployment. Able to cooperate and influence in a matrix organization Collaborative and team-work focused style a must.
