Job Description
OVERALL:
- Oversee Human Resources programs, including recruiting/employment, compensation, benefits, employee relations, recognition programs, and training programs, to ensure policy compliance for village team members. Build and promote a positive team culture while ensuring our guests’ experience is unique and brings the brand to life. Coach and counsel CDV and leadership team on all people-related issues.
- Manage village Operations and other relative challenges for pre-opening and opening.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the creation of and work within the established Human Resources department budget.
- Monitor staffing and labor standards to manage costs.
- Mitigate financial risks associated with employee relations issues.
- Identify and analyze local compensation and benefits practices to ensure financial competitiveness.
- Direct day-to-day activities, plan and assign work, and establish performance and development goals for team members. Provide mentoring, coaching, and regular feedback to help manage conflict, improve team member performance, and recognize good performance.
- Educate, train, and motivate employees while ensuring they have the information, market data, tools, and equipment to successfully carry out job duties.
- Conduct new team member orientation by providing information on company standards, policies, procedures, and team member benefit programs.
- Ensure that company hiring standards and governmental regulations are followed promptly for recruiting and selection processes.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification.
- Equivalent plus 4 years of related experience in Human Resources.
- Must speak the Japanese and English languages. Other languages preferred.
