Job Description

The HR Mergers and Acquisitions Total Rewards Lead is responsible for managing all rewards (including compensation and benefits) activities for acquisitions and divestitures, from due diligence to full integration.
Responsibilities include both early analysis and specific deal details: risk assessments, capitalization table analysis, facilitation of executive offer development, development of job mapping and grade leveling, workforce analysis, development of retention models, side-by-side benefits comparison and business consultations.
Additionally, you will be expected to collaborate with global compensation consulting, planning and design teams to construct a compensation package that aligns to Intel's compensation philosophy and supports the value drivers of the deal. Your role is critical to ensuring Intel's newly acquired employees have the right rewards packages in support of the deal strategy to enable the business success.

You can expect to:

  • Lead the initial compensation, benefits and equity analysis aspects of due diligence and develop a rewards strategy in partnership with the HR Mergers and Acquisitions Deal Lead to support the acquisition strategy.

  • Work with the business unit on executive compensation, employee grade leveling and compensation packages.

  • Deliver the Intel total compensation presentation and individual employee compensation packages.

  • Manage all target company employee data and collaborate with Intel's Workday data management team to integrate all target employee data into Workday, e.g., adding site codes, job codes, grade level, salary admin plans, etc.

  • Partner with the HR Mergers and Acquisitions Deal Team, as well as functional Mergers and Acquisitions deal team members like Finance and IT, to ensure an excellent integration experience across immigration, relocation, payroll readiness, hire day logistics and stock option plans to ensure a smooth transition for acquired employees.

The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:

  • Broader Acumen: will have additional experience in some of the other HR disciplines: HR Legal, BGHR, Staffing, etc

  • Knowledge of global HR procedures/guidelines as well as a sound understanding of relevant local labor law.

  • Stakeholder management: experience influencing in a compelling and succinct manner while building strong partnerships.

This role requires travel 20-30 percent of the time for deal related activity.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

 
Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS/Master's degree with 7+ years relevant experience in Compensation, Business or Finance.

  • Microsoft Office guru: you are an Excel junkie.

  • 3 to 5 years of experience with:

    • Mergers and Acquisitions experience.

    • Synthesizing data to determine the optimal compensation and benefit offerings for acquired leaders and employees, balancing benefits and costs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of direct compensation experience.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$107,450.00-$161,050.00

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
