Job Description

 

Job Summary

Be the champion of HR Operations to ensure a smooth day-to-day execution of all people-related processes, which are compliant to the Group’s policies, legislative, and statutory requirements.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Managing a small team overseeing the overall HR operations including but not limited to payroll calculation, MPF, annual tax return, medical group insurance, annual salary review, bonus scheme, and day-to-day operations;
  • Initiate, oversee and coordinate the updating of human resource software systems;
  • Formulate, review, revise and implement HR and Admin policies and procedures to match with business demand and strategies, and ensure compliance to the Group's policies and relevant laws and local statutory requirements;
  • Act as a business partner; work closely with senior management, department heads, and line managers;
  • Enhance work efficiency and corporate culture through workflow simplification, HR best practices, and procedure review; accept ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments;
  • Assist in organizing annual functions, corporate activities, corporate social responsibility activities, and special projects;
  • Undertake any ad hoc / special assignments assigned by senior management.

 

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Degree holders in Business Administration / Human Resources / Social Science or related disciplines, any formal qualification in the HR field an advantage;
  • At least 8 years of working experience in a similar position with sizable organizations (MNCs preferred) with a minimum of 4 years in supervisory/managerial role;
  • Solid HR fundamentals developed through practical experience within a best-in-class organization around payroll and benefits administration, employee relations, and organizational change;
  • Excellence knowledge in Hong Kong Employment Ordinances and related legislation, exposure to regulations in PRC and Southeast Asia region will be an advantage;
  • A high level of motivation and commitment; curious, hands-on, and result-driven;
  • Detail-oriented, numeric and analytical;
  • Flexible, independent, positive, proactive, and tactful;
  • Able to extend professional advice and support across all levels of the organization to create win-win solutions;
  • Strong time management and organizational skills; able to work under pressure, effectively prioritize and meet tight deadlines;
  • Proficiency in using MS Office, Google Suites, and Chinese Word Processing;
  • Excellence command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua will be advantageous.
