This internship position offers a unique opportunity to learn and gain experiences in specific areas of Human Resources within Siemens. Part of a dynamic strategic team, the intern can deepen their knowledge working for a global company and learn how to adapt to regional and global cultural differences.

Responsibilities:

Employee Engagement and Culture

  • Provide HR support to impact our culture and employee experience by managing day-to-day tasks and long-term projects and processes.
  • Support projects that aim to increase engagement in our cultural aspirations
  • Provide support in driving the Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) strategy
  • Work alongside team to execute and drive a Great Place to Work culture in the Americas region
  • Work collaboratively with the HR Community on development and engagement topics
  • Research best practice in the areas of talent development, talent management, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Coordinate analysis of the engagement survey

Required skills to have for the success of this role

  • Rising junior or senior currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program or a student currently enrolled in a master’s program
  • Majors: Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related discipline
  • Must have permanent work authorization 
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 3.2
  • Must be able to work full-time (up to 40 hours) in the summer and feel comfortable working in a fully virtual environment

Start Date: May 2021; 3-4 month duration.
