Eaton’s Electrical Division is currently seeking an HR Programs & Site Business Partner to join our team. This position is based in Raleigh, NC. Relocation Assistance will be provided! Position Overview: The HR Programs & Site Business Partner position will provide a broad range of HR support for the Capital Blvd. and Knightdale facilities in the Raleigh area, and lead the training programs for the Raleigh area plants. The selected candidate will direct report into the Site Leader, while proactively partner with the RPO Human Resources Manager to execute the assigned strategies and special projects in order to achieve strategic organizational objectives for the overall CPDI Divisional team. This role will be managing compensation, staffing, training, employee relations, organizational development, employee development, legal compliance, wellness, and community involvement as well as driving and implementing continuous improvement actions within the HR function. In this function you will: Support managers and supervisors in the hiring of salaried and hourly employees, while coordinating recruiting efforts with the centralized Talent Acquisition team. Coordinate and facilitate the New Employee Orientation for both facilities, and partner with operations leader to manage contingent workforce planning. Develop, implement, and monitor local policies and procedures to ensure consistency and fairness among employees. Administer corporate and divisional policies. Oversee and manager all training processes for Raleigh Area plants. Develop and coordinate the training and development programs for all facilities; this includes conducting the annual training needs assessment, developing the annual training plan, and assisting in the implementation and administration of training programs. Create process for trainer selection and skill development for trainers to improve communication skills and effectiveness. Will be responsible for developing and improving current onboarding and cross training processes for new hires, contractors, and internal transfers. Lead all site investigations and provide counsel and support to resolve interpersonal conflicts and employee relations issues. Maintain working relationship with outside agencies (temporary services, food vendor, local schools, colleges, area businesses and employment security commission) Manage leaves of absences; worker’s compensation claims; maintaining compliance to applicable labor laws. Develop and implement Inclusion & Diversity strategy for plant; increase Employee Resource Group participation and local Community Involvement initiatives. Develop and implement the facility’s annual Affirmative Action Plans and related EEO activities to ensure compliance to all applicable legal guidelines; develop robust outreach programs to ensure a diverse slate of candidates for all opportunities. Assist on special projects as for the CPDI division as needed, including support of the Forum location and other manufacturing facilities in the Raleigh area. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution Minimum three years of Human Resources experience Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in human resources or an MBA with a human resources concentration Prior experience in HR Programs or Training Programs Experience working in a manufacturing setting PHR or SPHR certification We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
