The HR Project Coordinator position is created to identify HR talent to bring into our organization and develop for future HR leadership through well-defined projects across the HR functions. The vision for this role is to develop the ideal candidate over a 12-24 month period before moving into a HR position based on business need, individuals competencies and professional interests. The person in this position will be an integrated HR partner and must be a self-starter, agile, and have the interest and potential for a progressive HR career. This position will report to the Talent & Culture Manager and work closely with HR partners across HR functions. Travel between AbbVie sites in Wiesbaden and Ludwigshafen may be necessary at times. Key Responsibilities Include: Primary function is to manage well-defined strategic projects that will drive the HR strategies and business priorities forward. Lead projects identified and supported by members of the Germany HR management team from organizational design, talent development and acquisition to culture and process improvement Create project governance, project plans and successfully manage the project through all defined milestones incl. sustainability and success measures. Learn and implement AbbVie Change Model and utilize the tools in the appropriate projects. Successfully manage stakeholders across the matrix organization. Create succinct and clear presentations to gain alignment and approval on project milestones or outcomes and tell a story through presentations to bring the audience along the change curve. Partner closely with Talent & Culture Manager on Culture and Talent Development projects and activities incl. employee survey, HR communication etc. Qualifications Basic: Bachelor's degree 3+ years of HR experience Critical thinking skills and demonstrated ability to drive high impact results. Strong oral and written communication skills Positive, solution-oriented mindset Ability to use Excel, PowerPoint, Word and virtual meeting technology Project and stakeholder management skills and experience Key AbbVie Competencies: Ability to work autonomously and is a self-starter Learns, fast, grasps the 'essence' and can change the course quickly where indicated. Raises the bar and is never satisfied with the status quo. Open to suggestions and experimentation for improvement.
