Eaton’s Electrical Residential and Wiring Devices Division is currently seeking a HR Supervisor to join our team. This position is based at our Charlotte, NC facility. Relocation assistance will be provided. Position Overview: The HR Supervisor leads the HR function at the Residential and Wiring Devices Division Distribution Center in Charlotte, NC including talent acquisition, communications, community and employee involvement, rewards, performance management for manufacturing, training, and work practices, etc. The HR Supervisor will also lead or implement Division HR continuous improvement projects. In this function you will: Assist managers and employees in understanding and applying HR tools to improve organization performance through enhanced employee engagement and manager effectiveness while ensuring legal compliance. Lead implementation of strategic initiatives to build organizational effectiveness and capability, talent retention and employee engagement. Implement and manage learning and development programs, such as new employee welcome and orientation, front line leadership, selection and assessment and other key learning and development initiatives while evaluating and revising programs as necessary. Lead large scale hiring efforts for permanent and temporary workforce to meet our customer commitments. Process oriented approach to managing work. Ability to advance process standardization and promote continuous improvement using Lean management tools. Analytical ability including identifying patterns, trends, associations, and cause-effect relationships from that data. Strong leadership and coaching skills with employees and managers. Ability to drive results working with cross-functional team through influence rather than direct authority. Superior knowledge of most aspects of the HR function and significant experience with organizational effectiveness. Current knowledge in state and federal labor laws, OSHA law, EEO and Affirmative Action. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or Industrial Relations from an accredited institution required Three (3) years of experience in an HR field Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future Relocation Assistance will be provided for candidates residing outside of a 50-mile radius of Charlotte, NC Preferred qualifications: PHR Certified Master’s degree preferred Experience in a manufacturing environment Why work at Eaton?
