What You’ll Do
    • You’ll be tasked with supporting our teams on the ground in addition to:
    • Maintain in depth knowledge of employee relations and legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees in China, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
    • Partner with legal department as needed/required.
    • Partner with your clients to roll out all key people processes (performance management, compensation, benefits, development programs, etc).
    • Consult with managers and provide guidance and coaching when appropriate.
    • Be knowledgeable about our business.
    • Provide guidance and input on workforce planning, succession planning, compensation, benchmarking, etc.
    • Identify training needs for different employee groups and individual manager coaching needs.

What You’ll Need
  • 5 Minimum Years of Experience with HR Generalist
  • Formal qualifications (minimum undergraduate) and fluent in English
  • Worked for multinational companies ideally in the Tech industry
  • Exposure to matrix-style reporting structures and regional offices
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and a passion for growth

About the Role

The role is accountable for providing a full HR service to the Jump China team including both a strategic and operational lens. Individual will be expected to quickly come up to speed in understanding the business (levers, challenges and strategy), Uber’s way of doing things and build trust, rapport and partner closely with the Jump China leadership team to execute People strategies.
Key achievables:
  • Understand the business and scale up of recruitment needs (working closely with the recruitment team to onboard and develop talent)
  • Build trust and rapport with the Stakeholders and Employees
  • Execute against HR priorities (must have a strong understanding of the HR/ER landscape in China)
