Job Description
Position Description: The successful candidate will execute the HRIS strategy and roadmap projects, including ongoing system enhancements and updates to support Lenovo’s Global needs working with the Executive Director, HR Technology & Analytics. This individual must be a change agent, with the ability to oversee multiple projects concurrently, and strong interpersonal relationship skills to work successfully with other groups across the organization. Manage, develop, and guide HRIS team members to ensure that HRIS work is being effectively managed for all project work. Technical and Process Leadership: • Work closely with HR and business stakeholders to understand business requirements and integrate them into the roadmap as appropriate • Act as subject matter expert in the standardization and implementation of global HR business processes, process controls, best practices, and policies/procedures that align to the requirements of our cloud solutions; recommend business process improvements as appropriate • Manage the design, configuration, testing, implementation, documentation, communication and training for new tools or changes to existing tools. Lead all technical work in keeping with established IT standards. • Serve as the single point of accountability for decision-making and escalations ensuring project goals and timelines are met and/or exceeded. • Proactively develop appropriate communication cadence and change methodology to support functions • Work closely with IT to ensure a proper governance structure and change control process to receive, evaluate, approve, and document process/system changes • Plan, budget, and forecast HR Systems needs and application requirements. Maintain awareness of vendor plans and the potential impact of those plans on current systems and the HR technology roadmap keeping executive management informed as appropriate. If you share our commitment to diversity, creativity and innovation, we want you to help us define our world of tomorrow. #### Position Requirements: Education and Experience: • BA or BS in HR Management or Computer Science desirable or equivalent combination of education and experience • 10+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years of directly managing / influencing teams of people in a global environment • 3+ years of Workday experience required Key Competencies: • Strategic vision and the ability to see where the business is headed, define opportunities and develop programs proactively • Demonstrated effectiveness leveraging technology and/or outsourced providers to drive down costs and increase effectiveness and efficiency • An understanding of how HR technology can add value to the organization and how to prioritize implementations that provide the highest ROI • A demonstrated ability to translate vision into action, manage multiple priorities, improve operations, and maintain positive and productive relationships while delivering results • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to consider multiple audiences, bring people along and drive change throughout the organization • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to break down complex concepts and clearly explain them to people at all levels • The ability to manage concurrent projects, prioritize work according to strategic goals and meet requirements and deadlines with a positive attitude.
