Position Description: About the role: The HRIS Manager will be responsible for successfully implementing various projects companywide and providing effective ongoing maintenance and administration. This role will provide expert solutions on how to leverage Lenovo’s HRIS and maximize system efficiencies in an effort to meet the strategic and operational needs of the business. This position will work collaboratively with process owners ad other organizational stakeholders to assist in the design, configuration and testing of various modules within Workday. They will also work with regional HR Service Centers to ensure HRIS Operations team members are effectively sharing knowledge and supporting end users About the team: The team currently consists of two other “Project” [complex configurations, new system implementations] resources, two “Operations” [security administration, EIBs, business process case escalations, simpler configurations] resources and one dedicated Project Manager. The team is based in Raleigh-Durham, NC, and Buenos Aires, Argentina, but this position can be based anywhere in the U.S. About the culture: Fast-paced and ambitious. Job responsibilities: • Schedule and drive detailed meetings, requirements, and testing • Liaise with colleagues and consulting partners to build solutions • Must be able to understand customer needs and create a solution • Responsible for configuring, testing, and deploying solutions • Work with PM to provide weekly project status updates • Responsible for raising risks and concerns and finding solutions and mitigations • Develop documentation for handoff and training to HRIS Operations and HR Service Center teams • Serve as a subject matter expert on Workday solutions • Partner with internal stakeholders to implement new modules and process improvements designed to enhance user experience and process efficiency • Execute on, and contribute to, strategic HRIS vision #### Position Requirements: Skills: • Advanced knowledge of Workday and experience configuring Workday required • Ability to work with all levels of the organization in a collaborative way • Strong communication and project leadership skills • Must be able to lead a team while also working independently, with minimal supervision • Strong follow-through skills and ability to be the driving force behind the completion of multiple projects • Ensure timeliness, accuracy and relevance of all solutions • Ability to understand and react quickly to changing priorities • Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree • Minimum 3 years’ experience configuring Workday • Prior management experience would be helpful, but this role is conceived as appropriate for an ascending manager We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any federal, state, or local protected class.
