HSE Advisor for wind power activities in Taiwan

Job Description

Do you want to be part of improving and maintaining HSE performance on offshore wind farms?

Join us and become HSE Advisor in our HSE Management team where you’ll be part of implementing and maintaining a strong HSE management culture across our activities in Taiwan in close cooperation with construction project HSE managers and colleagues in Europe.

Your key tasks will be to

  • support Offshore Execution Projects in managing HSE risks related to the construction, installation, and commissioning of offshore wind farms
  • act as subject matter expert in managing HSE risks and carry out routine investigations as requested by the Project HSE Manager
  • monitor, evaluate, and assess contractors' HSE behavior and performance
  • handle and provide advice on issues related to Execution Projects including, but not limited to, legal compliance, leadership and culture, contractor management, competence and training, new markets/businesses, and delivery excellence
  • establish good working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Your competences include that you

  • have a relevant academic or technical background followed by documented experience from HSE within construction activities, where you’ve constantly acted as a role model of a safety culture that promotes effective HSE management
  • have an analytical and curious mindset, enabling you to investigate health and safety-related issues. It would be a plus if you have undergone investigation training, but we can also provide this training
  • have excellent communication skills and speak and write Mandarin and English fluently
  • master e.g. the MS Office Suite in order to develop, document, and share your daily activities.
