Your tasks and responsibilities
Ensure the implementation of Corporate & legal HSE requirement in order to reduce or eliminate risks related to operations and thus avoid possible consequences.
Develop technicians in soft and hard skills, setting goals, monitoring results, demonstrating feedback and timely guidance;
Follow up on HSE goals and objectives, monitor results and establish action plans to collaborate with areas to achieve established goals
Ensure the implementation of training strategies for the personnel involved.
Conduct growers, tollers & third-party tours providing recommendations based on technical
knowledge and legal and corporate requirements to ensure the best conditions and action to operate.
Know the costcenters managed by the HSE area, ensuring the adequate distribution of available resources.
Carry out internal audits ensuring compliance with applicable requirements (Policy 2055, Human Rights and other that the Bayer defined), monitoring all non-conformities and ensuring compliance with action plans.
Ensure adequate updating of legal and corporate requirements and operating permits; providing timely visibility to leadership to ensure the necessary resources are applied.
Ensure the implementation of corporate systems for information loading (SAP, Intelex, etc.)
Act as a facilitator, coach, and coordinator of incident investigations.
Prepare management reports, indicators, presentations and lead meetings proposing solutions.
Develop joint work with the OM team in the implementation of the programs. Implement environmental initiatives.
Who you are
Risk Prevention Engineer / (S.N.S Registered). Desirable Post Graduation in Environment.
Language: Intermediate or advanced English
Experience: At least 3 years working in the area.
Competencies: Result orientation, professional relationships and connections, agility, experience and configuration to solve problems (courage & candor), assertive communication with all levels, relationships with government agencies, leadership and influence skills and coordination skills of multifunctional teams; Ability to communicate effectively with local leadership and employees at all levels within the organization to ensure a clear understanding of HSE policies and procedures.
Technical Knowledge: Legislation on safety and hygiene at work and occupational health, training in occupational hygiene, traditional and innovative training tools, preparation of technical reports, analysis and control of indicators, critical analysis of KPI, generation of data and reports, occupational health management concepts, incident investigation skills, knowledge advanced Microsoft Office skills.
