Job Description

Reporting to the HES Director or Sr Manager, the HES Man. is accountable for executing on specific components of the HES Book of work strategically aligned with the ASL and the HEOR Asset team and the HES Director/Sr Manager for a number of assets across LCM. The HES Book of work includes generating HTA insights for Clinical Development, leading Early HTA Engagement process, developing GVD including SLRs, Evidence Synthesis Feasibility Assessments (ESFA) and HTA Strategy one pager and supporting ASL to deliver on other Global Core Materials (eTPP, Value Story, Objection Handler). . In addition, HES Manager works with HES Sr Manager and  US VAP Lead to support on US specific book of work (ICER, AMCP, Value Tools). HES  Manager role is tactical execution of specific deliverables.

Responsibilities

This role is global with tactical execution. The HES Manager must have a deep understanding of regulatory and reimbursement perspectives and requirements to provide effective execution support of specific HES deliverables in close collaboration with HES Director/Sr Manager, HEOR asset team.. HES Manager is responsible to ensure the book of work is delivered in scope and on time whilst ensuring strategic alignment with HES Director/ Sr Manager.

HES Book of work with the guidance of the HES Director: Responsible for generating and embedding HTA insights for early pipeline in service of the DASK ASL, leading Early THA Engagement process, development of Literature Reviews and ESFA, preparation of GVD modules 2-4, contributing to key ASL deliverables (eTPP, Value Story, Module 1, Objection Handler, HTA Strategy One Pager) and ensure country relevance and HTA technical and strategic requirements are met through country co-creation. HES Director will oversea Value Writing work to ensure timely involvement and deliverable of Global Core Materials as per ASLs specification. The Manager will provide support to the HES Director/Sr Manager to engage with vendors as and when needed and with external experts (Ad board, 1:1 interviews) to validate HEOR strategy for HTA purposes in alignment with ASL.

The HES Sr Manager's main responsibilities include:

  • Facilitation of alignment on critical aspects of HTA technical requirements across LCM
  • Deliver on specific projects independently or working with Value Writers
  • Ensure compliance with HTA dossier and RTQ Governance

DAI Framework:

  • D: Delivers on specific projects assigned by the HES Director/Sr Manager
  • A: Advice on specifics of projects, technical needs
  • I: Informed of MOD, POR and IAS plans and HES Asset Project Plan 

Minimum Qualifications:

Doctorate degree 
OR
Master’s degree and 2 years of access and payer experience experience
OR
Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of access and payer experience experience 
OR
Associate’s degree and 10 years of access and payer experience experience 
OR 
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of access and payer experience experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in co-creation of HTA & GVD content with countries
  • Hands on experience on developing HTA strategy, HTA dossiers and HTA interactions at the country, region or global level
  • Possess technical understanding of HTA requirements 
  • Experience in delivering independently on SLRs, HTA dossiers, and other Health Economics projects
  • Health Economics training (on the job or academic)

Competencies

  • Experience working on external dossier submissions with respect to content creation, editing and/or review – ideally HTA / reimbursement dossiers or similar submissions
  • Experience working with customers and colleagues based in different time zones
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and soft skills
  • Working independently on key projects to deliver in time
