Intel is a leader in SerDes (Serializer/De-Serializer) IP technology for years, is looking for an experienced FW/PHY Developer to join our SerDes R&D team in Jerusalem. Our SerDes IP integrated into many of the cloud ecosystem (Servers, Switches, AI,…)
In this role the candidate will take part in architecture, design and development of real-time FW for the 224GHz SerDes that will be deployed in future cloud communication products.
What You'll Do?
As an experienced FW developer, you will join our SerDes design team and have an opportunity to develop and influence the world’s fastest SerDes IP.
Our FW team develops the adaptation algorithms on our DSP, calibration algorithms on the analog circuits and controls the digital management blocks.
We use the latest silicon technologies and processes to build the largest scale and most complex devices at the edge of feasibility.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Programming skills in C, C++ is a must. Python is an extra.
- Work experience as Real Time Embedded FW/DSP developer
- B.Sc in EE/CS with 5+ years Firmware Engineering.
- Capable of working in multi-tasking environment.
- Good understanding of Logic design programming model and low level.
- Enthusiastic, self-learning and problem solving with “can-do” attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in development of communication systems – Cable-Modem/wireless/5G/Ethernet
- Knowledge in Digital Signal Processing, ADC, Rx adaptations, LMS.
- Mixed signal experience, work with Analog design teams
- Post Silicon experience
- SW/FW performance optimization
- Experience with Tensilica core

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
