Come join Intel Validation Engineering (iVE) as a HW Technician! The HW technician is responsible for:
Technical functions in support of engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, modifications, fabrications, of design circuitry, electromechanical systems, or specialized test equipment.
Conducting engineering tests and detailed experimental testing to collect data or assist in research work.
May perform operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment.
In this role you will also be responsible for the following:
Conducting engineering tests and troubleshooting on server validation platforms
Technical functions in support of engineering activities
Experimental testing to collect data and assist in research work
Performing initial reviews of test result and uploading output data to appropriate repositories
Troubleshooting when validation platforms fail to yield desired results
Perform debug or special experiments without predefined documentation
Communicate results and prompt notification of any gating issues.
Support cross function remote engineers in use of the lab system hardware
Build, configure and test server validation platforms
Installation of various PC operating system and software applications
Configure/operate industry standard test and measurement equipment for debug and data collection
Installation and configuration of network KVMs and power distribution units
Assembly of non-technical fixtures such as test benches and liquid cooled thermal tools
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and tidiness of lab and workspace
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications
The candidate must have a High School/ Equivalent with 10+ years of experience -OR- an AA/AS with 6+ years of experience -OR- a Bachelor’s Degree in Science with 4+ years of experience in:
Computer architecture
Installation, troubleshooting and diagnosis of issues in Windows/Linux OS environments
PC and server peripherals
Validation and automation principles
CPU and Motherboard interfaces such as; Ethernet, USB, PCIe, Memory, etc.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$58,280.00-$87,320.00 (Hourly Role)
