Manly Pacific, the iconic beachfront and newly refurbished upscale lifestyle hotel, is seeking a highly motivated Handyperson to join our Engineering team. This role would be responsible for the maintaining our hotel's assets and ensuring that our beautiful property is functional. 

The Responsibilities include:

• Coordinating and assisting with the supervisor/manager/contractors in regards to the maintenance tasks in the guest rooms and public areas of the Hotel to ensure safe stays and memorable experience for our guests
• To carry out painting as instructed within the property
• Carry out maintenance on mechanical equipment and water reticulation 
• Identifying, documenting and following up on the maintenance tasks within the Hotel
• Maintenance of rooms, equipment and public areas

What we are looking for

• A can-do attitude as you turn “problems’’ into proactive opportunities
• Previous experience in painting, repairs, renovation is advantageous
• Ability to prioritise tasks and willingness to learn
• A self-starter and always places the needs of our guests first.
