Key responsibilities
1. You will be required to help produce brochures, leaflets, datasheets, web banners and other marketing collateral for various areas of the business in China and Asia, and delivering areas of the marketing plan.
2. You will be expected to be involved in both campaigns and individual assignments
3. Working with internal and external stakeholders and partners, you will create specific marketing campaigns, e-campaigns, and deliver creative solutions appropriately.
4. Additionally, you will contribute ideas to drive positive public relations.
5. Responsibility for web content and updates
6. Help composing press releases, case studies and EDM using industry-appropriate copy in relevant media
7. Digital marketing activities maintenance and develop.
8. Keeping up to date with media developments to ensure the organisation is represented appropriately to the widest possible relevant target audience in China and Asia Pacific
9. Working closely with the sales team to arrange local conferences, training, events and exhibitions
10. Desk support to Asia Pacific Sales & Marketing manager.
11. Create team building activities.
12. Proficient in market information of Asia Pacific and help Sales manager to find new opportunities.
13. Analysing trends of industries and municipal related to Hanovia business through credible datas, support sales team find new growth points.
Freedom of action
1. You will be expected to take full ownership of the responsibilities above and use your initiative to operate independently and flexibly to achieve the required aims. In order to do this you will have full authority to take (with due regard to policies and requirements set by the company) all necessary decisions required to achieve this. This includes the authority to recommend and implement reasonable changes and improvements to systems and processes to enhance the effectiveness of your role and the department generally.
Candidate profile
All candidates will be thoroughly assessed through a rigorous multi-stage interview process (including psychometric testing), and all claims of qualifications and experience will be required to be backed by clear evidence.
The following are required characteristics:
1. Openness, honesty, integrity, independently
2. A minimum of a Bachelor level qualification.
3. A track record of successful experience marketing in capital equipment to industry or municipal.
4. A minimum of 5 years marketing experience, with a good understanding of marketing communications, digital marketing and channel marketing.
5. IT “enthusiast” – highly literate in Internet/PC / Windows / MS Office.
6. Experience of CRM systems – preferably SalesLogix.
7. Good communicator – ability to interface with all levels in the company.
8. Ability and willingness to undertake occasional national and international business travel, including manning of Hanovia booths at trade events.
9. Fluent in written & spoken English, with good standard of grammar and style of Chinese, suitable for publishable copy in Chinese (this will be tested).
The following are highly desirable characteristics:
1. Qualification in marketing or marketing communications
2. Knowledge of water treatment market would be an advantage.
3. Overseas working experience, especialy in Asia Pacific would be an advantage.
