Job Description

This internship would involve understanding and performing performance per Watt optimization for network security, storage and Wireless segment Hardware accelerators IPs. Work may encompass one or several areas of engineering including Area/Power analysis, Analyzing Industry standard bus protocols.

Duties may include research, evaluation, development and documentation of new standards/protocols into defining next gen Accelerator products.

Length of internship: 6+ months with the possibility to extend it as per business needs.

This is an entry level position and it will be compensated accordingly.


Qualifications

Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a nonexempt technical nature. U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through 
a combination of your school work/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Requirements

Candidate must be pursuing a Masters or PhD in a Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.

6+ months of experience in the following

  • Hardware Design and Micro-architecture

  • System Verilog/VHDL

  • Computer Architecture

Preferred Qualification

6+ months of experience in some of the following

  • Network protocols like Ethernet or compression.

  • PCIe specifications.

  • Media or crypto standards .

  • Working proficiency of network and communication system architecture.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$52,000.00-$147,000.00

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
