Job Description

  • Conducts or participates in multidisciplinary research in the design, development, testing and utilization of information processing hardware and/or electrical components, mechanisms, materials, and/or circuitry, processes, packaging, and cabinetry for central processing units (CPUs) and/or peripheral equipment.
  • Prepares specifications, evaluates vendors, and analyzes test reports.
  • Ensures products conform to standards and specifications.
  • Develops plans and cost estimates and assesses projects to analyze risk.
  • Develops procedures, analysis and design for computer components, products, and systems.
  • Initiates, guides, and coordinates overall design and development of new ideas and products.
  • Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur..
  • Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

Without Degree and 2+ years of applicable experience or Bachelor's / Master's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.

If you have a Bachelor's degree, you must have 2+ years of applicable job experience. If you have a Master's degree, you must have 1+ year of applicable job experience.


Please consider that this is a temporary position (6 months contract).

1+ year of experience in:

  • Board design process.
  • Industrial Computer Aided Design (CAD) toolset for Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) design such as Cadence, ORCAD, Proteus or similar.
  • Intermediate English level.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience on Intel Server architectures.
  • 1+ year of experience in Signal Integrity Design.
  • 1+ year Field Programmable Gate-Array (FPGA) and Programmable Logic Design (PLD).

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
