We're looking for a Hardware Design Engineer to join our forward thinking Team in Cairo, Egypt. This is role with a truly global scope, and the opportunity to drive continuous improvement of one our most important services. Main Responsibilities Study and review standard specifications. Develop and execute detailed block level and chip level digital designs. Write and verify RTL code (Verilog/VHDL) for digital blocks. Run Synthesis of RTL code and analyze reports. Writing any required documentation. Run and debug the design on FPGA and Veloce Emulator. Integrate Software and Hardware components. Required skills, knowledge and experience B.Sc./M.Sc. in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science. Excellent knowledge in Verilog HDL or VHDL. Strong knowledge in digital design. Preferred has good knowledge in System Verilog and verification methodologies (OVM / UVM / VMM). Preferred to have a good knowledge in scripting (Shell / Perl / Python). Has experience in C/C++ Programming is a huge plus! Knowledge of Storage protocols like UFS, SAS, or similar is a plus. Prior knowledge in FPGA prototyping or emulation is preferred. Highly developed communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and share your knowledge with others. We’re Siemens.
